John Wilson, LCSW
John Wilson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 30 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups.
John is passionate about helping clients improve their quality of life and believes that each person has strengths that can support healing and meaningful change. Through a compassionate and collaborative counseling process, he helps clients navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
With many years of experience serving veterans through the Veterans Administration, John has provided both trauma-focused and general counseling services. He is trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), evidence-based approaches that help clients process traumatic experiences and reduce their impact on daily life.
His areas of practice include anxiety, panic disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), grief and loss, and relationship concerns. John also supports individuals living with chronic illness, co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and experiences of domestic abuse and violence.
